There is nothing in the world more
exciting or fulfilling than serving as a pastor in
Christ's church. I was ordained in 1985 and have had a
great ministry ever since with three wonderful
churches.
In this class, we're going to learn what it means to be a pastor. We're going to look at the ministry, go through a wonderful model of how to deal with conflict, and then go over some skills in calling and listening.
One important note. While we will talk about Pastoral Care, you really need to be doing it. It will be important for you during this course to be visiting people in their homes and hospital rooms. You can't learn about Pastoral Care unless you're doing it!
